I really like the concept behind the Solar Protocol project.
It’s like a CDN where the delivery location is determined by the sun, not the user (you know, the true center of our universe (ok, solar system, but that’s not as strong rhetorically)). Each node can customize its version of the site, injecting some personality. And the design/richness of the experience will change based on the strength of the sun’s presence.
I wonder how an idea like this could be combined with web3. Both to mitigate the environmental impact and amplify the quirkiness of whatever comes next.
